Custom 50 Ford Ink Art & Custom Matching Frame

This piece was the last and one of the largest marker pieces I've done, especially with a painted to match frame. The original piece is on 22"x30" illustration board and features a custom 1950 Ford rendered with gold markers. The background was done with grey tone markers and Sharpies, and the entire piece was done completely freehand- no rulers, tools, stencils or templates were used. Then the original was taken to my local custom framers where they fitted it with glass, a 2.75" wide satin black frame all around, sealed up the back and included mounting wire so it's ready to hang. The last steps were to mix matching enamels (whites, blacks, and greys) to match the original tone of the ink drawing and extend the artwork out on to the frame by hand. The artwork extensions also wrap completely around the edges of the frame. The completed piece measures 27"x35"x1"

This original is currently available for $500 and Free Shipping within the USA, can be purchased here along with many other available originals and prints:

Custom C-10 Original + Painted to Match Frame FOR SALE!!

Yesterday I got the Custom C-10 ink original and it's painted to match frame is all finished. This piece was done using Sharpies, a little bit of airbrushed ink, and enamels mixed to match the ink on the frame- comes complete with glass and mounting wire and measures 18"x28". This is the only piece I've done with the added greys in the background so it's a little different then some of the others.

NEW Original Piece with Custom Painted Frame For Sale!

This is an original piece named "201" after the early Ford I-4 motor (201 was the displacement), and was done entirely freehand on 5"x7" illustration board using only Ultra Fine Sharpies. In addition, the satin black frame was hand painted using gloss enamels and a paint brush to extend the artwork out onto the frame. I really love doing the frames extended pieces- they really seem to add more fun to everything. For Sale!

Custom Painted Sharpie Art Framed Prints

So lately I've been doing a lot of these custom painted/matched sharpie art prints. Sounds confusing, I know but I'll explain-  I start with either an 8x10 or 11x14 print of one of my pieces of sharpie art or a close up shot of one of the cars, then frame it nicely in a matte black frame that has plenty of edge space. From there I use enamel pinstripe paint (1-Shot) and a paint brush to extended the artwork from the print, over the frame. And I do mean all the way over from the glass side inner edge, over the sides. This is a great way to get a very nice framed print and have some custom artwork as well! Every piece is different from the last, so everyone has something unique. These are made to order, so if you're interested in having one, send me an email-  Cruizin4Customs@hotmail.com

NEW Sharpied Framed Prints

Only 1 Available
Just before last weekends Artist's Night at Stumblefoot Brewery in San Marcos, I decided to grab a few frames to house some of the prints I had for sale- specifically for the show. So I got one of each- black & white. And once the prints were placed in their respective frames, another idea dawned on me-  why not continue part of the artwork out onto the frame? I've seen this done with artwork in the past and I think it's a great way to offer a complete framed print that does have some original hand done artwork to it-  best of both worlds! So here it is- the top print is a close up of the Sharpie Mustang roof continued with black Sharpie, and the bottom is a print of the 'Sharpie Labyrinth" continued with silver Sharpie. The top one sold at the show and I got a great response out of the idea so I will be offering this in the store shortly- each one will be different then the last. At this time the bottom one needs a home- its a true 1/1 that I'll part with for the event price of only $50 +shipping. Frame measures 10.5"x12.5" And if anyone is interested in having one specially made, please email me: Cruizin4Customs@hotmail.com
